Our Story

My Closet Your Closet Corporation was invoked from first-hand experiences. As a child, my family and I experienced homelessness and relied on the support of the community. We received gently used clothing from others, were fed by local churches, and stayed in shelters.

We knew what it truly meant to need vs. want.

That period of life molded me into the person that I am today. As I became an adult, I vowed not to go through that again and to use my resources to support others in that circumstance.

We have engrained in our children and the youth, that we are placed in this world to serve one another and to bridge gaps for those in need. My Closet Your Closet is here to assist members of the community in need and create the next generation of compassionate and servant leaders.
